Engage in everyday moments together
Morning Time
When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning! I love Christmastime. The music and decorations remind me that God loves us so much God gave us Jesus.”
Cuddle Time
Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, [Child’s name] and I are seeing Christmas decorations everywhere. Seeing all of the decorations reminds us that it’s almost Jesus’ birthday! Thank You for giving us Jesus, God. We love you!”
Drive Time
While on the go, look for hearts. Hearts make us think of love. God loved the world so much, God gave us Jesus.
Bath Time
Play Christmas music during bath time and sing along as you help your child bathe. Talk about how Christmas is a time to celebrate that God gave us Jesus, and singing is a fun way to celebrate!
Easter

Jesus died on a cross and came back alive, so we could be friends with Him forever!

Morning Time
As your kid starts their day, celebrate something good that has happened in their life or in your family recently (no matter how big or small).
Meal Time
At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “What are some ways Jesus is good news for you?”
Drive Time
While on the go, ask your kid: “What is something good that has happened to someone you know?” (Or even news they’ve heard that’s good?)
Bed Time
Pray for each other: “Jesus, thank You for being good news for us not just at Christmas, but every day.”
