Morning Time
When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! I see someone Jesus loves. YOU! Jesus loves you so much He wants to be your friend forever!”
Cuddle Time
Cuddle with your child and pray: “Dear God, [child’s name] and I want to thank You for sending Jesus to show us that we are forgiven. Like Peter, sometimes we make the wrong choice. It’s so good to know that we can always talk to Jesus about it, and Jesus still loves us and forgives us.”
Drive Time
While on the go, talk about when each of you have been afraid of something. Say: “Peter was afraid when people asked him if he knew Jesus, so he said no. Peter was sad when he did that because he really loved Jesus, but Jesus forgave Peter. Now Jesus says for us to forgive one another.”
Bath Time
Tell your child to pick some of their favorite toy friends to add to bath time. As your child plays, ask them what they like about each toy. Then say: “You like these toy friends a lot, but guess what! Jesus loves you even MORE, and Jesus wants to be your real friend FOREVER!”

Meal Time
At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “Who is someone you forgave? Was it easy or difficult? Was it once, or did you have to keep forgiving them when you remembered how they made you feel?”
Drive Time
While on the go, ask your kid: “What do you think it means to forgive someone?”
Bed Time
Pray for each other: “God, thank You for all the ways You have forgiven us. You love us so much. Help us to remember that when we have a chance to forgive others. Help us to forgive other people like You forgive us.”
